Eritreans, Egyptians, Senegalese: ancient communities in Lombardy started to be populated by elderly people or to welcome them by virtue of family reunification. Aging and migratory processes as an emerging social phenomenon are the focus of “The Aging African Diasporas”, a research project of the Department of Human Sciences for Education of the University of Milan-Bicocca in partnership with ACRA, Diapason Social Cooperative, Cooperative Ruah and the support of the Cariplo Foundation.
