Ismailou is a Ph.D. student in Cultural and Social Anthropology at the Department of Human Sciences for Education, “Riccardo Massa”, University of Milan-Bicocca (Italy).
In 2002, he was Consultant at ICCROM, International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and the Restoration of Cultural Property, Roma (Italy). In 2007, he became the coordinator of the educational Activities of the École du Patrimoine Africaine, which he directed between 2010 and 2011. In 2011, he taught at the Institut Régional d’Enseignement Supérieur en développement Culturel (IRES-RDEC) ex CRAC de Lomé (Togo). Specialist of museum education and media, he has a long international experience, and speaks fluent French, Fulfulde and Arabic.
